More Things happened in 2014 than any other year

Research by Heriot Watt University has shown that more things happened in 2014 than ever before.

Dr Michael K Bird, and expert on incidents and events, led the project and was surprised at the results; “When we started this research, we didn’t realise that so many things happened last year and we presumed it was less than 2013. When we learned that more things had happened than ever before we were shocked but also pleased.”

When asked how this had been calculated, flustered and sweaty Dr Bird replied “I’m afraid it’s too technical and risqué to explain in a family newspaper.”
