National Numerical Society Poll RESULTS

Last Week the Nation Numerical Society (NNS) conducted their annual poll to find the nations favourite number between one and ten. Over 200,000 people responded to the poll and the number 7 was announced as the winner.
The results were extremely close with both 9 and 7 being clear favourites. This led to 8 recounts as supporters of both numbers clashed over allegations of cheating.
Many were worried that there would be a repeat of last year’s riots which resulted in 6 deaths and 569 injuries, however these fears were unfounded.

Next week the national Language society will reveal the results of their recent poll: Top ten punctuation marks, with supporters of the question mark hoping for a repeat of last year’s landslide victory.
