Man Mistaken For Dustmite

Since he was child, Mark McCrindle, 22 (though he looks at least double that) has constantly been mistaken for a dust-mite.

"I think it all started to happen when he was about two." Joan McCrindle, Mark's mother, said. I remember when he would play in the park as a child and the other parents who scream in horror and shout "Look at that dustmite!" and I would say "Hey. That's my son." It is also understood that McCrindle was bullied during school and has a fear of furniture polish and steam cleaners.

On the rather unusual comparison McCrindle himself said; “I don’t really know why this started. I mean, apart from feeding on organic detritus such as flakes of human skin and flourishing in the stable environment of dwelling, causing asthma and allergic symptoms worldwide, having a gut that contains potent digestive enzymes (notably proteases) that persist in my feces and are major inducers of allergic reactions such as wheezing and also have an exoskeleton that can also contribute to allergic reactions. I’m really nothing like a dust-mite.”
